Tri State-Wide Collaboration Annual Event (Adelaide)
The 2007 Annual Event was held on September 11 at the Next Generation
Convention Centre in Adelaide. The seminar, attended by about 50
researchers was a showcase of primary health care research across the
three states including from a number of first time presenters as well as
more experienced researchers.

Researcher Short Course in Research Methods
A two-day short course was delivered
12-13th April 2007. The course was open to PHCRED
supported researchers. The course was ran from the University
of Adelaide and video conferenced to the Greater Green
Triangle.

Researcher Development
Program Fellowships for 2007 still available
There are still some fellowships available at the
Centre for Remote Health - Alice Springs and the Greater
Green Triangle. For details of RDP fellowships check out the
links through the partners' logos (top right).
Formative E-Mail
Survey of Tri State-Wide Committee members.
The Tri State-Wide Coordinator conducted a
summative survey of the members of the collaboration
committee in January to inform collaboration activities
and provide an opportunity for suggested improvements.
Findings from the survey were very positive but some
areas for improvement were also identified.

Poster Award for SGHRHS -
The 2006 GP& PHC Conference award for best poster
presentation went to Spencer Gulf Rural Health School
this year (for the second year running). To view the

PHCRED Workshops
A number of workshops were
delivered last year including Grant Writing and
preparation presented by Dr. Nigel Stocks at SADI and
Developing Evaluation Frameworks presented by Paul
Aylward at AHCSA. If your organisation/agency works in
